In schools, teachers and leaders have the greatest influence on student learning. The Fairfield Public School District evaluates each and every staff member to ensure continuous professional growth. For the upcoming school year, all certified staff at Winston Churchill and Adlai Stevenson Schools will be evaluated using the Stronge Model . This state and board approved evaluation system is used to determine a staff member's Practice score. However, there are other components that determine a teacher's overall evaluation rating. Below is an explanation of New Jersey's required components for the evaluation of teachers and principals.
