Message From the Stevenson School Principal

The Adlai E. Stevenson School serves students in prekindergarten through grade 3 that provides students with a full complement of learning experiences. Our school community is dedicated to cultivating the full potential of each child through numerous approaches to teaching and learning.

There are over 400 students in our school, who experience a comprehensive primary curriculum. Our staff utilizes instructional strategies that address individual needs and are differentiated, so that all students can enjoy their learning experience. Our staff attends professional development activities in the areas of language arts, mathematics and many other academic areas. Literacy skills are developed in order to build a strong foundation for other areas of instruction.

There is a before and after school care program at Stevenson, managed by Tiny Treasures. We work closely with the Home and School Association and appreciate all they provide to enhance our students' educational experience.
